Where wild meets wonder

At Benevolent Mission, we create nature studies resources that inspire children and families to explore the natural world with curiosity and wonder. As published authors and professional wildlife photographers, we design curriculums that combine accurate science with immersive visuals, giving young learners a meaningful connection to the environment.

One Lesson Per Week -

Released Seasonally

Created with homeschool families and young nature enthusiasts in mind, our curriculums are designed to meet nature studies requirements while also cultivating a lifelong love for wildlife.

Each curriculum balances structured education with hands-on exploration, making learning both comprehensive and fun, including:

  • 12 unique, downloadable, print-friendly lessons, intended to be used weekly (new curriculums are released seasonally)

  • Fascinating facts about the species’ habitats, behaviors, and characteristics

  • Interactive media, including professional photographs, high-quality videos, and animal sounds

  • 12 unique, downloadable games for each curriculum, designed to reinforce information learned in each lesson

Fall 2025 Curriculum - Water Birds!

Our curriculums include access to hundreds of wildlife photos and videos that we've captured. And, as a special bonus, we've included audio clips of each animal so children can

hear the sounds of the wildlife they are learning about!

Watch, listen and learn!

Learning should be fun!

Each week includes 3 downloadable activities, specific to the lesson, designed to help children expand upon their learning. Activities include:

  • The Great Nature Debate:  A set of flash cards with facts and fibs - your child must guess if the fact is true or false!

  • Wildlife Word Hunt: Key words from the lesson will be hidden on a worksheet - your child must highlight or circle the words as they find them!

  • Wild Word Fill: Facts from the lesson will be listed on a worksheet with missing answers - your child must speak or write the missing word to complete each sentence!

BONUS: At the end of each 12 week lesson, you can download the "Nature Pairs Game" which includes one pair of each wildlife species they've studied (24 cards total) - you scatter the cards face down and your child must match the two identical species while using recognition skills.
